Almost every single business out there is about selling products, and persuading people to buy your own products over the products which are offered by your key rivals. Myself for example, my main interests lie in computer games, but also electronics and gadgets, so TVs, blu-ray players, mostly big flashy gadgets. So for me, if I were looking at New careers within a sales environment, I would be wanting to work somewhere like GAME, or Comet, so I could work beside products I already have a sound knowledge of. Similarly though, if you have an interest in fashion, there are many high-street shops with which career development is possible. You may hope to go for something rather more high value, such as selling cars in a car showroom. With sales, as long as you have a aptitude for it, you can get a New career in just about any area that appeals to you as an individual.
