You Are The Boss Of Your Body
When we were growing up we had many adults who told us what to do. The parents decide their bedtime. A kid’s schedule is determined by adults also. Our meals are fixed for us every day. Once we are grown up and on our own we have the ability to make the choices for ourselves. Even as adults we do not have complete control of all of the choices that we face.
We are the only person who determines the amount that we way. Unlike when we were kids, the meals we eat are now in our control. We can decide if we want to spend some of our evening doing sets of six pack ab exercises, or if we rather stuff our face with popcorn as we watch some movies on the big screen television in our living room. It is up to us as adults to know when we have to lose a few pounds or not. It is easy to know if we are overweight. Getting rid of the extra weight can be difficult. We are taught from a young age that the things that we want the most are often the hardest to attain. Getting fit and healthy is one of those things.
The benefits that are associated with losing weight are numerous. Being overweight puts a person at risk for many diseases. By getting fit and trim, those illnesses can disappear and allow a person to get off medications that they used to have to take. It is not necessary to learn how to lose weight fast, rather it is just necessary to lose the weight and to gain control of how your body feels on a daily basis. Many of us don’t understand what we did wrong to gain the weight that we did. The truth is that we got into the shape we were in because we didn’t pay attention to our diet and ignored the need to work out. Most people who are fat have are that way because of what they eat, but there are a few who are that way because of things that they can’t control. We are the people who spent their evenings at an all you can eat buffet. The last part of the extra weight is a lack of exercise.
It is an individuals choice to watch their diet and to get in a proper work out. If you go to chat rooms on the internet like the biggest loser forum, you will find people who are trying to lose weight that all share similar stories of excess eating and weight gain and the struggle to get it under control. The common thread is the desire to do something about it. But other people can not make the choices for us no matter how much we want them to. There is no one else who can do it for us. The person who decides what we put into our body is the person we look at in the mirror every day. It is up to the individual who wants to lose the weight to make sure that they follow the plan every day.
We are tempted by many things every day. Everyone wants our business and make us offers that are hard to refuse. These are the things we must avoid at first until we have the weight problem under control. Even when our weight is under control, these things should still be kept in moderation. All of the effort that was put in to get fit and healthy will be thrown away quickly if a person does not watch what they eat. A diet can help a person to lose weight, but if a person wants to keep the weight off they must adjust their lifestyle. The choice to maintain a healthier lifestyle rest solely upon ourselves We can no longer depend on our parents to make the right choices for ourselves, we have to make the right choices. We have no one to blame but ourselves if it is not.
